Anders Skrondal

Generalized Linear Latent and Mixed Models with Composite Links

Anders Skrondal is Head of the Biostatistics Group at the Division of Epidemiology, Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
Skrondal’s research interests include topics in biostatistics, social statistics and psychometrics.
His Dr.Philos dissertation in medical statistics was awarded the “1997 Psychometric Society Dissertation Prize”. Skrondal is involved in numerous collaborative projects within medical research.
Recently, he has concentrated on collaborative work on the development of the Generalized Linear Latent and Mixed Model (GLLAMM) framework. An outcome of this project is the book “Generalized Latent Variable Modeling” published by Chapman & Hall/CRC.
